Finding the right contractor for your home electrification project can be challenging. To help you get started, San José Clean Energy has a list of professionals participating in the EcoHome Rebate and/or EcoHome Payment Plan ready to help you with your home projects. Our Network is comprised of contractors willing to assist homeowners like you with project estimation, equipment recommendations, and permitting. Contractor quotes can vary widely and contain various levels of detail. We can review these with you and explain key differences between contractors’ recommended scopes of work.

There are various incentive programs that can greatly reduce the costs to go electric or and pay you to reduce your energy use during grid emergencies. Some are through San José Clean Energy or PG&E; and others are from local, state, or federal programs. Incentives can come in the form of cash or check rebates, electricity bill credits, tax credits, and electricity rate discounts. Additionally, there are often increased incentives for eligible customers. We can help you discover, understand, and apply for these.
